spevSLAM 2026

Teja (singing) had a performance at spevSLAM in Cankarjev dom with Lovorka (piano). This a competition where new songs are promoted. It was an opportunity to hang out with friends. I thought I bought a ticket, but on the last day I found I didn’t have it. I had to pay 15€ on the day of the concert, but I bought it before it sold out.

We gathered outside before we moved to the CD club. We got seats in the first row. Teja and Lovorka had the most challenging piece. Out of 13 couples on stage, also numbers 4, 8 and 12/13 were likable. But in the end, the one who got the most votes from the audience wins. The strength of your social network was the main factor, not quality. After the results were declared, we went home disappointed.
