Ment 2026 is an alternative music festival organized in Ljubljana since 2015. It focuses on discovering new artists in the region and Europe. Also, it connects people in the music industry via conferences, workshops… This year it was in period 18–21 February 2026, on locations Kino Šiška, Castle, Metelkova, Orto bar, …
I bought a ticket for Friday @ Orto Bar (13€). I arrived after 7PM, took a bottle of water, and paid 3€. I was at Orto Bar Hala and even found a seat here.
At 19:30 – 20:10, Mitsko Biće came on stage. This is an Indie rock band from Serbia. Slow, repetitive, nothing special
20:50 – 21:30 was time for Ki Klop, Croatian Disco/Funk/PopRock band, probably my pick for tonight at Orto…
At 22:00 – 22:40, it was time forthe band Insan, most recognized but not my favourite
We wanted to visit the upper hall, Klub, but it was full. So we walked to Metekova mesto. We entered Channel Zero. At 23:30 – 00:10 Neeko was on (Trap/Mumble rap/Hip-hop). We soon moved on.
Menza pri koritu was the next stop, at 00:15 – 00:55, Julián Mayorga (Tropicalia/Cumbia/Avantgarde/World) had a performance. It was probably the most fun I had that evening, confetti.
We finished at Gala Hala, where Rey Colino had his set (01:00 – 03:00 Progressive house/Acid/Techno). Around 2 am, I took a taxi home.
