Pop’s pizza

After work, I was hungry and decided to go for a pizza. I chose Pop’s pizza place. They also have a burger place and a bistro. On arrival, I sat at an empty table. Nearby, they were getting ready to film something. With the help of the waiter, I find what to order. Sicario pizza and Italian IPA.

Soon I got beer, Guerilla by CRAK, 0.5l (6 €). It was ok, maybe a bit too fruity for my taste. Pizza had Napolitano dough (48h), green tomatillo sauce, Fior di Latte (Agerole), chorizo (Pata negra), Tropea onion (red and sweet), jalapeno chili, smoked ricotta (14.9 €).

I enjoyed sour green tomatoes and spicy jalapenos, and even added some spicy sauce. While it rained, I moved under an umbrella. The meal was tasty, great ingredients, helpful staff, but almost 21 € is a bit too much. On my way home, I saw Žnidaršič.

After Teja’s play, we went for a pizza and sat out in the sun. The menu has changed since the last visit. I ordered Di Materina (Fresh Housemade Pesto, Fior di Latte Agerola, Mediterranean Gamberi, Black Olive Powder, Citrus Oil, Lemon zest, Basil). It was a new experience with green pesto covering the dough, gamberi were soft and with a garlic aftertaste, 15,9€.
