mic-concert

After 15 years, it was time for my sister and me to go to the Kao nekad – Live reunion concert by the Plavi orkestar. In Stožice, I only got tickets far away from the stage. We left home a little before 8pm, parked somewhere near EF and walked to the arena. The entrance was crowded, made our way to the seats in the red ring, tickets were €43. The seats were in a good position, the row in front of us was empty, we are older and it’s better than the ground floor.

The band is on stage at 20:30 with Saša Lošić – Loša: vocals, Mladen Pavičić – Pava on electric guitar and brothers Samir Ćeramida, Ćera I on bass with Admir Ćeramida, Ćera II on drums. There is another guitarist to help Pirc. They start off slower, some songs don’t sound good (Gujo), not enough stuff from the first album. But Loša communicates well with the audience. Towards the middle of the concert, most of the audience is no longer sitting.

It is interesting that during their existence they have gained an audience of different generations, mine and older ones with the first and second albums, the next generation in the 90s, and the last one in this millennium. They definitely cover the audience from 60 to 20 years old, where not only immigrants but also locals attend their concerts. Loša flirts with Slovenian in a nice way, including a Slovenian song in their repertoire. After almost 2 and a half hours they finished, my sister and I may not have been impressed with the choice of songs and each performance, but the whole thing was worth the nostalgia it evoked.
