Close to the office, Lucky Cat opened their 3rd location. It was time for my first visit. During lunch break, not many people were there; the interior was nice. On their menu, they have Chinese and Japanese dishes. I opted for bento (Japanese lunch box). Here you choose between miso or hot & sour soup; you get 3 maki, 2 negiri, spicy cabbage salad, spring rolls & prawn crackers, rice, and one of the main dishes (salmon, duck, chicken, beef, …). I had Agamo bento (crispy duck with teriyaki sauce) and hot & sour soup with pre-defined salad, appetizers, and sushi.
I got a medium-sized, well-designed bowl of soup, but the taste was too bland (not spicy or sour enough).
Main dish came in a nice bento box. Not big but many different things there. You have an appetizer (spring rolls & prawn crackers), nothing special about them. I moved to sushi, probably the worst I had in a long time (sticky rice, shrimp far from fresh). Crispy duck with rice and salad were good enough.
I paid for lunch 10.5€ and 2.5€ for mineral water. So for a meal in the city center, this was an OK price; portion not too big but enough, nice presentation, but quality wasn’t on the desired level, especially sushi and soup. I would go again for a quick lunch, and I would order just one of the Chinese dishes.
