I bought a ticket for the Futsal European Championship in Ljubljana, 2 games for 16€. I went from work to lunch and then moved to Stožice. Attendance was 5,600 people; the venue was half full. It was an ideal start, in the 9th second, Bukovec scored. The goalkeeper from Belarus was active, and they equalized 10 min later.
After a 15-minute break guest got into the lead with a goal scored by Kozel, through the legs of the player and the goalkeeper. A few minutes later, a nice equalizer by Bukovec. The final result was 2:3 due to a mistake by the goalkeeper. Slovenia tried with the 5th player, but there was no luck. I would say Belaeus was the better team; the goalkeeper on the Slovenian side was the biggest weakness. No matter the results, fans gave great support.
One hour till next game, so I went out for a snack. I was late and missed a few minutes of the game Portugal vs Poland. This game didn’t decide anything between the first and the last team in the group. When I entered the venue, Portugal was already in the lead. There were supporters for both sides there. Poland scored from a free kick. Again, Portugal is in the lead, again, Poland equalized. Portugal played better and won 3:2 in the end.
In general, this is phisical game, both sides shoot a lot, miss many chances, dribble, use timeouts, have quick changes in 2x 20 minutes, but each game lasts almost 2 hours with all the breaks.
