Early in the morning (6am) we docked in Dakar. We missed the boat to Gore Island because of lengthy procedures at disembarking.
We took a long walk in Dakar. On our way, we passed a cathedral, mosque, cemetery, fish market, art park, biggest monument, most western point of Africa.
We walked more than 18km and took 2 taxis 2000 XOF=3€ to Western Point and 3000 XOF=4.5€ to the place we stayed at.
We ate in the morning sandwiches with fries and eggs 750XOF/pc=1,2€/pc. Later on, we found shwarma for 2000 XOF=3 €. The last meal was fish with rice 4000XOF=6€, fancy with flies. That day we drunk water 400 XOF=0,6 €, coffee 100 XOF=0,15 €, coke 350 XOF=0.5 €, beer 650 XOF=1 €.
We were staying in Fadidi house 37 €=24000 XOF, bathroom in room, nice terrace. In the evening we walked around. I hade a shave 500 XOF=0,75 €. Then I realized the sun got me even though temperatures were modest that day.
