I would have to be in Vienna today and fly to Malta over the extended weekend because Monday is a holiday in Slovenia. But quarantine prevents me from visiting the third country 🙁 AirMalta offered me three options:
- Swap an invalid ticket for a new one for the same destination within 12 months, get a $ 20 bonus, no money refund possible, transfer to another person possible
- Replace an invalid ticket for a voucher that I must use within 12 months, get a 30% bonus, no money refund possible, transfer to another person
- Replace an invalid ticket for a voucher that I have to use within 12 months, possible money refund in last month, no transfer to another person
I haven’t decided yet which one to choose, but I think I like 2 options the most. Not much money involved anyway, € 70.
It’s been 6 weeks now since the quarantine started. The light at the end of the tunnel is slowly. The measures taken are slowly revoked so the trend is OK. I hope that by the end of May we are coming to some new normal and that it will be possible to reach the Croatian coast. In autumn I am still hoping for Asia.
