It is a former capital. Vendors there were annoying, I bought chess for 80 Rs (won Boško). Back at the hotel, we talked to an Australian couple that was in Varanasi. They swam in the Ganges, she finished in hospital. At 23:30 we had a sleeper train to Varanasi, 12 hours.
