Singapore
We landed in Singapore early in the morning, Argentinian had to run to catch a connecting flight. With German, we took it easy, went for a cigaret at the cactus garden, and talked about polka.
I moved on and passed security (online form). I bought a daily metro ticket for 30 SGD. First I visited the botanical garden. it was humid there after the rain. To see the part with orchids I had to pay 15 SGD, a nice walk, and many orchids in green house.
I exited on the other side of the park and took the metro to Chinatown. From there I walked past the financial quarter and saw a few interesting colonial buildings. I ate at McDonald’s for 12 SGD, not the best service. Next was the Muslim quarter with the Sultan Mosque. I finished with a temple in Little India.
It was getting dark and I went to the marina by metro. On one side of Marina Bay sands, I watched the light show with trees, and then on the other side I watched a light show with Fontaine. It was time for beer, 23 SGD.
I had a lot of time before a flight so I took the metro to the north and then just wandered around until I saw a rat. It was time to find a bar close by. I sat in the karaoke bar and had a few beers (18 SGS) with some locals …
