Prasica – Bitch – movie

A new Slovenian movie Bitch, A Derogatory Term for a Woman (2021) aka “Prasica, slabšalni izraz za žensko” was out and a few times with different people we tried to find time to see it. Finally, I agreed with Andreja to see it at Komuna theater on Tuesday at 20h. I walked from Gea college, ate kebab (4.5 €) at Nobel, and bought tickets (9 €) when Andreja arrived, late. We sat for a drink and of course, went inside a bit late. We also bought popcorn even though we knew it is not good there, it is cold. The seats were OK.

Shortly I would describe it as a movie about growing up. The main character was sometimes a bit too vulgar and unconvincing. But the movie as a whole was OK by Slovenian standards. There were many moments I could relate to or places I was at. Also one of the producers was from the neighborhood and the director of photography was a high school classmate, so it was a bit obligatory to visit the theater.

Later we moved to a Cantina Mexicana restaurant for a snack and Cutty sark for a drink in Knafel pass before leaving toward home.
